Our expedition vehicle based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 leaves only a few options to ventilate properly from the factory. Due to the curvature of the vehicle’s sides, it immediately rains in when the sliding window is open, and the airstream pushes inward unpleasantly while driving.

I have made suitable perforated plates and transparent window lamellas constructed and 3d printed. This prevents the rain and allow it to have the window open at night.

According to the grid size of the perforated plate, the vertical hole spacing is 24 mm and the horizontal hole spacing is 152.5 mm.

The following is needed per slat for assembly:
5x self-locking nut M3, stainless steel
4x M3 x 16 mm, countersunk screw, stainless steel
